Yes,Will,you are correct.What I am saying is to stay away from the close ratio one.The close ratio ones I have had were NP435D3.They were an extra cost option,and normally found in higher end trucks. I think if your 10 spline tranny came behind a basic slant six truck you are most likely pretty safe.
