Don't put lights inside the spray booth. You don't need another potential ignition source. Especially, lights on stands that can be knocked over or incandescent lights that get hot. Keep them on the outside and away from the plastic.
I once dropped an incandescent work light while I was removing a gas tank while the car was close to the ground. Plenty of fumes. That's probably the closest I've come to being incinerated. It's one of those close calls that sends chills down your spine when you think about it.
I'm using LED work lights now.
