Is it honestly any different then the money some people here have dumped into their Power Wagons?
I probably could have bought one of these for the same money I've sunk into my resto-mod, and admit it or not this is a more capable off-road vehicle than a PW any day.
Besides, there are plenty of us who use our trucks as trucks, and there are plenty of people who may have an honest need for one of these.
A ranch could easily use one of these for the same price as a new 4x4, and this is more capable and probably more reliable. Or how about security companies, or the places that rent to movie studios?
There are plenty of guys out there that have built off-road rigs and similar out of Jeeps that have easily spent $20k to do what one of these could do. Just the portal axles on one of these could cost that much in the aftermarket.
