Paint vapors can be explosive. And vaporizing just about anything makes it explosive. One spark in a vapor laden room will change your priorities very quickly. That's why professional paint booths come with fire suppression systems in addition to one heck of a ventilation system.
Think about the static that sheets of plastic rubbing together can create.
