In preparing to launch the info I've been compiling on the open cab power wagon fire trucks I've gotten some excellent information on the COAST APPARATUS TRUCKS.
However, I hit the friggin motherload on VAN PELT APPARATUS TRUCKS. I Have an interview set up for January with two employees from Van Pelt who worked there in the 1950's 1960's and right up till it was sold to FMC APPARATUS.
Anyone here who has a Van Pelt fire Truck, I might be able to help you get your original build sheet. Email me with all the info on your truck and I will see what I can do.
