As paul stated you will get your best milage at 1600 to 1800 rpm. Anything over 2000 and your milage will drop real fast. My daily driver is a 66 K20 chevy with a 4bt and a ZF5 with 3:90 gears and 33" tires. I get 23 or 24 mpg.
