I have seen several levers bent to the right. I always thought it was to avoid hitting the knees, but maybe it's the light switch.
Common problem on early WDX is the regulator tape hits the ignition switch and shorts it out. A work around was to install a diverter bolt, but tape must go under the bolt to be diverted downward. Later regulator bodies have an arc to divert the tape downward.
