My mom has gotten to writing down stories of growing up on a farm in South Dakota in the 30's & 40's. My wife took them and went to one of those publishing pages (pikaboo or snapfish) and made them into three books for my kids. Other than what my mom tells us there's no newspaper articles or anything to remind us of her simpler times and stories that would have been long forgotten when my mom is gone. SO GLAD she took the time to jot down some of her favorite memories for my kids to pass on to their kids.
