I just received two unexpected checks in the mail from Toyota for my "economic loss" as a result of the unexpected acceleration problem.
Even though the models I have were never affected, I've had no problems and most experts agree that the problem was that a few people may have put the carpet on top of the accelerator, I get compensated.
Aren't attorney's wonderful? They are looking out for my interests. I get $60 they get hundreds of millions and a company that was never at fault gets screwed.
If you can't turn off the ignition, put the car in neutral, stand on the brakes or tell the brake pedal from the accelerator pedal, you shouldn't be driving.
