Thanks to out to everyone who responded on my tire question in Forum 461. After I found out locally that my old sources for tires didn't have them, I nearly despaired, but now that I know the options, I'm in good shape again.

I do have a question however, in looking over the options I'm intrigued by the military Michelin tire. I see they apparently no longer make it, but there do seem to be some here and there on the net. And then there's the Yellow Sea Tire.

What are the opinions of people who have switched over to the military radial like the Michelin and Yellow Sea? Do you like it? My 62 W300 isn't used a lot, but it is used out in the back country, and it looks like a good tire. Does it come out as tall as the old 9:00 x 16 LT bias plys?

Also, somewhere I ran across a photo of somebody with what appeared to be 11:00 x 16 Michelins on a Power Wagon. Would those actually work, and would they be excessively tall, compared to the bias plys.

Sorry for all the ignorant questions.
