There are quite a few of us (myself included) going down that route. I'd suggest you start by clicking on "Phil's Archive in the header and do a search. Everything you ever wanted to know.
Some other good resources are the PWA forum and of course the 4BT swaps forum.
It's a TON of work since you can't just update the engine really, it's just the beginning of a cascade of stuff that needs to be done to have a reliable vehicle.
We'll be more than happy to help you work through it, but start with the archives and the PWA forum and really get a feel for what you're looking at getting yourself into. It's not a weekend project. I'm about 5 or 6 years in and just starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, though admittedly my build was more extensive than some.
