Yea, now it is, but in 1968 I bought a brand new Dodge D100 for $3100, interest 2.3 % for 4 years, apartment cost me $135.00 month including utilities. In 1972 bought my first house for $16,500. Daughter born in 1974 hospital including doctor $4,200. Now a days new car/truck upwards of $35,000, apartment upwards of $1250 a month not including utilities, birth upwards of $12,000 new house $200,000 and up.
