Smart move. Some people will pay handsomely if that is a complete rust-free bed.
Not every truck can be saved. But, those of us who have worked with less hate to see a nice bed cut up. Especially, when somebody starts cutting up a bed prematurely.
Hopefully, your bed is as nice as it looks.
