Saginaws don't line up at all at the floor.

Here is a pic of my latest project, and my mod to the floor.

Most guys us a U-joint there, so the column can angle towards the dash easily.

I use an later OE Bell Joint, to allow the cab to flex fore and aft too. So maybe I needed a bigger slot in the cab? But I have done three Saginaw conversions, and the each needed some work to get a shaft through.
