Do a search in the archives for Electrolysis.
A few years ago, I did a few write ups on Electrolysis. I really works fine, even on rusted and corroded battery trays. I showed and described the set up I used. Its easy, but it does take some time. Its not fast like a blast cabinet. IN the picture you can see the plastic garbage can with sacrificial metal, next picture is the bubbling action with current applied, last picture is after a few hours, 3rd picture is after 20 hours.
