Putting a 5.9 Cummins over the front axle sure would! Heck we are on the second set of ball joints and wheel bearings on my Daughters 3500 4X4 Dodge Cummins 1 ton truck and that is a new rig. My Hemi with more miles same year has a tight front end and no replacement parts. Were talking just 135,000 plus miles! I know when my tractor lifted a 5.9 off a Dodge frame it was all it could do to lift it! Those are one heavy engine to go over the axles compaired to a 6 cylinder. These old truck are always hard to steer until they roll. We are used to power steering and new stuff. Big differents in my new Dodge steering box and the PWs.
