The bogie suspension supports the weight on the frame at the center of the bogie pivot. The 2 rear axles split the load, but the chassis "sees" the support at the pivot point. If each rear axle had it's own separate spring attached the the frame, independent of the other axle, your theory would be more correct. But since the two axles are tied together like a see-saw, the pivot point takes all the weight. Clear as mud?
