Hello Bill,

When I was at the parts store on Linden St Luke taught us to clamp the shaft in a vise (with the joint installed) at the weld, then use a BMFH and a drift to spread the yoke enough to pop the clips in.

worked on large shafts like on cement trucks and stuff.
