I know Rob mentioned it before, Ficken Wiper Service is out of parts for our vacuum wiper motors.
I had sent mine in about a week or so before that announcement came, as did Clark. Clark was the lucky one, got both his motors rebuilt. I got mine back a few days ago. I was on a trip to Florida and got home yesterday to open the box. Only one motor was done, with a refund check attached to the invoice from Rob saying he made one good motor from the two, and didn't have parts for the second.
Sad. To know that the parts and services for these old beauties are soon going the way of the dinosaur.
Guess I can say I got the last one done by them??
So, now on to find another option for the passenger side… Anyone bought the rebuild kit from VPW? or do they even have them anymore?
