The correct mainfold for the 1955 C3PW is different from the one for a M37. M37 exits at rear and 55 exits about 4 or 5 inches forward of rear exit on M37. A M37 will work but you have to use a shorter exhaust head pipe, (Early WDX & B1 series used same as M37.) Good Luck, Todd
