The big six (25 " long) was the 237, 250 and 265 ci block. It has a longer stroke and smaller bore (4-1/4 bore ) than the 218/230 23" long block (4-5/8 bore) The 230 is a stroked 218. Internal parts (cam, pistons, crank and rods don't interchange between the big six and little six. Also their is a Candian version of the big six, cast and mfg in Canda. If has different stroke and bore than the US version. It was used in the '46 -'48 Candian Dodge D25 which is a '46-'48 P15 Plymouth body with '46-'48 D24 Dodge badges. I believe the engine was also used in other Candian made passenger mopars and the Fargo trucks.
