One of the things that brings us together here is the ability to form emotional attachments to things and places. Sorry to hear the news. I felt very sad when they sold the shipyard up north that I worked at for 10 years. All of the things that happened there, some heroic, some just funny will now only be in the minds of the men who were there. Count yourself lucky to not have worked in some cubicle in an office toiling in dumb anguish like so many do now. Years from now, they will only have faint memories of missed report deadlines that nobody gives a cr#p about. You have memories of the greatest machines of the 20th Century. Count yourself lucky.
