Putting it under pressure will raise the boiling point of the coolant, plus allow suction to return coolant to the system from the radiator overflow tank when cooling. Some trucks, such as my 56 PW has the original non-pressure cap. This means the coolant (water/antifreeze) will boil at a lower temperature, and I have to periodically check the level.

NAPA 4-1132 is for the non-pressurized system
NAPA 4-1140 is a 4lb cap

Parts are different for various pressure pounds of a truck's system. It's important to know what pounds your truck's system was designed for so you do not get a cap with greater pressure, especially if your running an older radiator.
