I got a 99 3500 2wd took it to the rally in Iowa with a 9000lb trailer 48ft gooseneck with two flat fenders trucks on it and then returned to Texas with em. truck is a standard 24 valve with a 5 speed about 37,000 now and a E-brake from cummins . didnt bother it much figured the whole rig weighed near 29,000lbs got around 10.5-11 at 70. We have a 95 2wd 3500 got 165,000took the 410s out and put 355s in that truck went across the scales hauling 32,500worth of railroad equipment we built for the TTX railroad up in Washington state. WE were in the trailer manufacturing buisness and sales and all are stuff was built mainly for job rated tasks and unless it is going to be used for Heavy duty hauling all the time like a hotshot or in the mountains pulling a load you are probaly ok with 355
