My understanding is that light profile is standard European spec. Which is why if you buy a set of Euro-spec headlights you'll get that beam pattern.

It's a great upgrade if you can get them, though like anything there are good and bad versions in both specs, and you have to make sure you get the version for the side of the road we drive on!
