During our little violent rainstorm Friday night, we had an old Jacaranda fall over blocking the street and my southern driveway.
When I called the city they told me it would be quite a while as they had a lot of trees down.
One of my neighbors said he'd hack it up if I would push it to the side. A deputy came by and blocked traffic for us because people were still trying to drive through. We made short work of the tree and got the road open.
The city crew came by a few hours later and pitched fit because we took care of it ourselves. They were so bent out of shape they got back in their truck and left.
PW content, I had to start up and move the old Montauk truck to get the Bobcat out of the back shed.
