In the '70s, Senco had several promotions to get their tools out there. You could buy a gun and a compressor and they threw in several thousand nails or staples. I still have some of the early guns with magnesium housings. They are great tools, but the rebuild/repair parts are obsolete. I am thinking of hanging them on the wall above the fireplace, along with some of my 1950s worm drive Skil saws. :)
My son in law was helping me with some repair work under the house last week and I gave him my Milwaukee Sawzall to do some cutting. He commented on how much slower it is than his newer Porter Cable. Of course I resisted challenging his Porter Cable to last as long as my old Milwaukee. Ha
