I had one in a 1990 F350. It did fine with a 10' camper on it. Sufficient power and acceleration. But at 30k miles it started blowing blue smoke on cold starts so I sold it and got a diesel. I suspect that the valve seals failed. Mileage wise it was under warranty but it was beyond the 3 year time of the warranty.
