I had a 2000 F350 4x4 Crew Cab V10 with a 5 spd manual trans. We used it for 10 years and it did everything I needed it to do.
The engines like high RPMs, so I am not sure how an auto trans would be. They are known to blow out spark plugs, but I never had any issues...never touched the plugs! Great engine, got about 13 mpg empty. Never had a problem with it.
