He refers to "last" painter, which seems to indicate there might have been a previous painter (or more). If one of the painters has lost it, it just adds into the fact that way too many businesses are becoming way too irresponsible. I recently ordered some organic peppers from Bob Cocivi. The post office apparently "lost" them. They were in a fairly large box. How can they lose something like that? The moral values of this world are falling, and it's not all at the bottom of the ladder.
