Thanks for the offer, I appreciate it, and thanks for the info as well.
I have some 50/50 i use for electronics and non potable water but this repair is for my home water pipes so i figured i would go lead free.
I have not seen the crystals that grow on the electronics but i could see how that would happen. When i was doing electronic assembly no one cared about lead solder.
