If bed is original, you have a first series bed. Four stake pockets per side rather than three. Square rather than fluted or half-vase shaped stake pockets. Slanted top rail rather than flat top rail. Six boards (factory often used several pieces of boards in place of one, not all straight). Five skid strips. Tailgate hinge inset into two center boards and under center skid strip. "Dodge" stamped in center of tailgate surrounded by oval. Similar header panel.
