I am rebuilding the T245 230 engine. I got the main bearings from Midwest Military. here is the message I sent him. "Hi John,
I am test fitting the bearings before installing the crank. The front bearing is wider than the middle two so the oil hole and grove is not in the center. l think the two bearing halves should be mirror image. The only way it currently fits, has the oil grove not continuous all the way around. This doesn't seem to be a problem on the other bearings because the groves are in the center. Am I seeing this right?" Has anyone used these bearings fit this way?
