It seems with all the old vehicles that are being resurrected, and many actually being driven regularly, someone should come up with a way to resurface the insides of drums so they can be remachined and used. Would silver solder work to hold a sleeve in place? Maybe with solid rivets to pin them? I am not a machinist, and I am probably missing something, but I've always been told you can't do it, but I don't understand why.
