My M37 has the fuse block/breaker block on the firewall engine side. I have a plexi dust shield over it that also has the fuse assignments on it. All my other trucks have the fuse panel mounted center firewall in the cab. But you thoughts on AC preclude that area. Go for under the hood/firewall
