But, all the cylinders had good compression. I can understand the truck not running well, but how can the engine have good compression on all cylinders and not at least start.

Are we saying the cam was for a different firing order, and somehow, it managed to develop good compression on every cylinder. Or, was the valve timing so early or late that it wouldn't run at all. Somebody help me understand.
