I think there was a general lack of respect for the sweptline trucks. They were branded : work truck,crummy,or ugly old dodge. I had a 67 w200 sweptline plow truck that I bought. It looked like they left the tailgate down so they could plow going backwards too. There was not even one straight body part on it.It was a factory 383 truck with HD gauges too.

My dad used to joke that there are three things that you don't want to pick up
1 a pregnant woman
2 an empty whiskey bottle
3 an old dodge truck
