I was researching the pressure because I am using a hydraulic gear pump for power steering and was wondering where to set my relief valve. Most of what I found on the internet indicated around 900 psi for power steering. I am curious because I really liked the steering at 1500 psi but I got nervous that steering box couldn't take that much pressure. If you have put a gauge on a ps pump I would be very curious what you found?
