My Uncle Clarence owned a beach cottage at Kure Beach, NC. My family would spend a week there every so often in the summer. Right across the road (US-421)from the cottage was the Kure Beach Fishing Pier. The man who owned the pier also owned a Power Wagon. He used it to drive up and down the beach and through the surf. He also used it to haul bait that he caught to sell at the pier. Needless to say the Power Wagon was quite rusty. I saw it several times at our visits to my uncles' cottage.
