Join the Antique Caterpillar Machinery Owners Club forum. Lots of knowledgeable guys there that will give you some sound advice. The price of a Cat Dozer depends on the shape of the undercarriage. If you have one that has the Rollers hitting the pin bosses, the sprocket teeth real sharp at the top, the grousers way down etc, most guys would tell you it's worth scrap price only.
