Three years after purchase and a many of busted knuckles. New brakes, rebuilt winch, rebuilt carb. Wiring harness straighted out so all lights and gauges including turn signals will work. Resealed transmission and transfercase. rebuilt front steering knuckles and replaced all worn steering parts. new michelen xl 1100x16, resealed both axles and new wheel bearings. The radiator had been recored many years ago one small leak fixed, new water distribution tube and engine block flush. new vaccume advance, rebuilt fuel-vaccume combo pump new fuel lines and she ran but not very powerfull,tested compression it was low so after a total rebuild on the 251 the 1966 wm300 is back on the road. Today I got a new personal tag ordered the letters are PWRWGN also got insurance. hit the road for a drive steers great, stops great, amazingly the tires roll smooth with no hop, plenty of power hit 54 mph on gps with petal to burn. cruises easy at 45mph, thanks to all on this forum for help, I have spent many hours in the archives reading. again thanks to all
