do they mean the exhaust seat itself has the corrosion or the block that holds the insert has the corrosion? do they realize it has factory hardened insert type seats already?
many people don't realize that they do. Fuel before the 40s mostly had no lead in it so hardened seats were used by mopar and some others. the flathead mopars from 33 unitl end of flatheads in the 70s, always had them.
