I bought a small package of screws from an outfit back east in early August. They sent them by US mail with tracking. Within a few days tracking showed they left the Spokane hub, which usually means they'll be delivered in Wallace the next day. Never showed up. Seller kindly refunded my money even though it wasn't their fault. A little over a month later, they mysteriously appeared. Our local post-master who is smarter and cares more than most USPS employees these days, did some further tracking and found that it had been scanned in Denver after it left Spokane. He thinks somebody accidentally left it in the bottom of an "empty" mail sack.
