I didn't think there would/should be a difference since the booster is remote mounted, but I wasn't sure. Yes, much easier just to install a new MC and move on. The 300 has 4.88 gears and I'm running 16" HD road tread tires w/ chains so I just use it to drag stuff around the farm. Never hauling heavy loads on public roads.
