I heard back from the producer about a volume pricing schedule. Counting in the initial cost for the first one, it looks like with 10 plates it drops to about $225 each, with 20 plates about $150 each.
Still pricey.
Not sure what the "price point" is where guys would like to buy one.
Will see about alternatives.
