Last night the wife and I were watching the Giants lose terribly to the Lions (I used to walk to the Giants games from my grandmother's house when they played in New Haven in the early 70's), and here comes a commercial with a shiny new Kubota tractor on the back of a late 30's Chevy cab over...probably about a 2 ton. Did anyone else see the commercial? I did some quick lookups and it was the last of the pre WWII models carried over to 46.
I wonder if it was regional to my section of the rural south since it involved a young couple homesteading a piece of property. Kubota has been active in marketing to the suburban types who want to homestead and buy what I consider premium tractors. Our interest is the horizontal twin cylinder tractors with green paint and yellow trim.
