Based on my WC53 with a small block with a 4 barrel it will do very nicely. Plenty of power, but it will eat gas with the V8 and 5.83s. But who is keeping track. I am glad that mine has a 30 gal fuel tank. I also have 4.83 gears in mine. As a point of reference, the engine is turning 3,000 RPM at 60 with the 4.83s and 36" Michelin tires.
