The "High Performance" body lift stuff is waaay hard. They want to eliminate body roll for better road feel, but if they didn't lift on 4" of rubber, body roll would not be problem. Mostly I think they want bling for bling's sake.

I would cut it into a 2 1/4" square or round> less = more...flex.

Was the stock oak notched like that on the end? I haven't seen a wood set up since '76.
