Welding is not like riding a bike.
it has been 15 years since i did any welding and after working on building my new gate.... it is clear that practice is every thing.
even though i remember the basics actually applying them is a different story.
I am glad i started with something fairly forgiving like the gate frame which will be covered by wood anyway.

i will need to do some sheet metal practice before i work on my '41 WC-4.
Can anybody give me recommendations for specific wire or techniques for welding cracks on these old PW's?
