A used car dealer could be capable of anything, not saying this guy is doing that, but they know the tricks better than you do. Don't get caught up in auction fever. Sometimes, the "guy" you are bidding against is a 13 year old kid on his dad's Ebay account. It has happened.

By the time a truck gets over $15,000, you should be doing an in-person inspection with a knowledgeable FFPW person, if you are not one yourself.

In the $20,000 range, you should be getting a nice truck that is ready to go. According to my reading of the ad, this one is still going to need much basic work before it is a reliable driver. So, if you want to have a truck sitting in your shop for a year while you go through the cooling system, axles and all the seals, this truck may be for you. You will certainly have a very nice truck when you finish.

Notice that the seller has no Ebay sales history?
